Job Opportunity: Social Media Coordinator

Rather Outdoors, owner of market-leading fishing tackle brands such as Preston Innovations, Avid Carp, SonuBaits and Korum are looking for a highly motivated individual, that is proficient in the world of social media, to join our fast-growing marketing team. The successful candidate will have a detailed knowledge of the workings of platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, alongside an ability to process in-depth analytics...

Key Roles:

• Planning and posting of engaging content on the social media pages of various brands from the Rather Outdoors group
• Use of 3^rd party software for creation of content plans for our media teams across Europe to follow
• Working alongside marketing managers to produce high quality Meta and Google ads
• Working alongside a team of content creators to brainstorm and post highly engaging content on a daily basis
• Scheduling new product images and information prior to official launch across all brands and regions
• Actively researching changes on social media to keep ahead of the competition
• Data analysis to ensure media teams concentrate resources on content that gets the most reach and creates high levels of engagement

Skills Required:

• Detailed knowledge of Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and TikTok
• Preferably social media related degree or experience working in a similar role
• Knowledge of Meta and Google Advertising an advantage
• Good understanding of social media content calendar software
• High level of written English
• Proficient in the use of photoshop an advantage
• Understanding of various fishing styles (carp/match/coarse/predator) an advantage
• Very organized and ability to formulate effective strategies
• High level of self-motivation with ability to work efficiently against tight deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively

Salary: Dependent on experience

Equipment: All necessary photography and computer equipment provided

Location: Based working from home with 2-3 days per month on average in our offices (Telford or Brentwood)
